The Galaxy Player shares a lot of tech with its Samsung Galaxy S, running the Android 2.2 operating system and come in 8, 16, and 32 GB options.

The Galaxy Player has a 1GHz Samsung Hummingbird processor, a 4 inch, 800 x 480 pixel Super LCD display, WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, HD video playback, GPS, a 3.2MP rear and front-facing camera. There’s also T-DMB digital TV tuner, SoundAlive audio-enhancing DSP and memory expansion via microSD card slot. The device also gets Android Market access, along with Samsung’s own Appstore.

There’s still no word on pricing or availability in the US.
