Verizon is rolling out an update to the tablet that promises to improve battery life and and enhance the browser’s performance, particularly when searching for WiFi hotspots. The update also packs a improvements to the non-Gmail email app, such as better font sizing, display of the time the email was received in the status bar, proper linking, larger attachment opening, Word doc downloads, and the ability to send multiple name cards.

Dell Streak Android 2.2 update before the end of November

Dell UK has announced on its official Facebook account that it will begin a roll out of the Android 2.2 (Froyo) update to the Dell Streak before the end of November. The update will start from UK and other will be pushed later.

#DellStreak will begin a rollout of the 2.2 update OTA before the end of Nov. This is happening over a period of time and staggered by region, starting in the UK.You will receive notification of the update directly on your Streak. If you don’t see it before the end of Nov, please be patient as your build may be happening at a later stage.

While the update page goes live already, but the “Continue with Update” didn’t work.
